Homemade pesto, in a jar with a past
A simple basil pesto — and why it tastes better spooned from vintage glass.
There is something about spooning fresh pesto into an old glass jar that makes the whole ritual feel richer... Start with a generous bunch of basil, a handful of toasted pine nuts, good olive oil, garlic and plenty of parmesan. Blitz, taste, adjust. Then find a jar that has already lived a life, and give it a new purpose.
